Im schönen Grenoble in Frankreich hat der Street Art und Tattoo Künstler Veks Van Hillik (Veeks hatte ich euch hier schon mal vorgestellt) ein imposantes Mural an eine Häuserwand im Rahmen des Grenoble Street Art Fest gezaubert.
The Story of Reynard
Der in Toulouse lebende Franzose findet Inspiration in der Fauna und Flora dieser Welt, aber auch Märchenhaftes und Sureales beeinflußen ihn. So wundert es nicht, das sein neues Mural “The Story of Reynard” Bezug nimmt auf – na ihr ahnt es – die Fabel von Reineke Fuchs. Mehr über Veks Van Hillik findet ihr hier.
“Veks Van Hillik just sent us some images from his latest mural which was just completed on the streets of Grenoble in France. This 30 x 10 meter piece was organized by Spacejunk Art Center. This artwork is inspired by the legendary book “The Story Of Reynard” which has an original version location in the Great Library of Grenoble! It’s a book themed mural. The French artist works using the childhood surrealist theme and atmosphere. He likes to paint his murals just like a giant canvas.”
